John Roberts' Roving Records
I have been DJing and entertaining the entire area since 1973. With experience from stage, Radio, Tv and nightclubs and a music library of over 150,000 records and CDs and an incredible light show, I will make your event a very memorable one.
I was noted one of the Nation's top 10 entertaining DJs in National competition in Atlantic City and was voted the 1996 nightclub DJ of the year at the American DJ awards in Las Vegas. I recently became a certified stage hypnotist and perform comedy stage shows Nationally.
As a DJ, weddings are without a doubt my specialty and most performed function. In a good year I have performed as many as 50 to 70 weddings a year (depending on how many reunions, birthday parties etc I do.)
I also specialize in reunions, Bar and Bot Mitzvahs, corporate functions and larger outdoor events with my 20' trailer full of sound. I do Karaoke shows, robotic boxing and Game shows.
All my equipment is state of the art, professional equipment. I am computerized and bring a music library of over 250,000 songs. I can handle all types of music and work on a request format. MY karaoke shows carry upwards of 30,000 songs. I am an interactive DJ with a 2 person DJ/MC style show.
I also do radio, TV, MC and announcing, commercials and voice overs and nightclub work. I am a member of the ABC and am a nightclub consultant.
I am a member of the ADJA, MPDJA, BADJA, ODJA, ABC, CCBN and the Charles County Chamber of Commerce.
